Whitethorne Ranch is located in beautiful Somis, CA just minutes from the 118 freeway. Set in quiet surroundings amongst citrus and avocado groves, the ranch benefits from the ocean breeze from Camarillo, resulting in temperatures in summer which are 10ºF – 15ºF below those in Thousand Oaks, Moorpark and Simi Valley.

Facilities include:

• Full-sized dressage arena with mirrors and Fibar footing
• 2 Grand Prix jumping arenas
• Grass Grand Prix jumping arena
• Quarter-mile galloping track edged with fruit trees
• Lunging arena
• Several large turnouts with horse-safe fencing
• Eurocizer

Horse accomodations are available in a number of sizes:

• Indoor 12 x 12 stalls
• 12 x 36 in & out stalls
• 16 x 24 fully covered mare motel

Alfalfa and oat hay is fed three times daily, with timothy available at additional cost. Grain and supplements are fed twice daily, and all horses are turned out each day (wearing protective boots, of course). Whitethorne is close to several major show venues, including Mission Pacific and El Sueno.
